Windsurfing

Windsurfing is an aquatic sport that uses special equipment – a light windsurf board and a sail attached to it by means of a hinge connection. The board is driven by the force of the wind if the sail is turned in the right direction. Windsurfing is seen by many as a hybrid of yachting and surfing. The only difference here is that a windsurfing board and the sail are operated by one person who, unlike in yachting, moves the sail forwards or backwards, thus creating the driving force in the sail.
Windsurfers can use different styles and methods of driving the sail, though the principle always remains the same as it is based on physical laws. Windsurfing can be both a relaxing activity for those who want to experience new action, or it can be a thrilling and adrenalin-driving extreme sport if the surfer is an experienced sportsman looking for even greater mastery of this sport. That's a characteristic feature of windsurfing (similarly to surfing) – it can become your lifestyle and you'll find yourself doing it over and over again. All you need to have is a windsurfing board and a suit which are not very expensive. If you have much time on your hands and if you're looking to improve your health, master new skills and simply to learn to do something really cool, you can try windsurfing.
Despite its seeming simplicity it can be very hard to start to do things right in windsurfing. At first you'll be falling into the water over and over again before you'll learn how to hold your weight in the right position to be able to surf.
